Every night I stand awake beside my bed,
All my thoughts condense inside congest my drain,
I make shadow puppets on the walls my friends,
Plaster pattern ceiling faces smile and say,

When the lights are off we’re watching you,
And when you’re fast asleep we’ll start to move,

I dream in town there lives a man but no one knows his name,
They’ve given up on greeting his reply always the same,
The sky is falling hell has frozen the cows are home to graze,
Want to be good company.

Various kinds of bugs and spiders crawl and pace,
Chewing tiny holes in my window screen,
So they have a unabated view of me,
